Shin Lim

A Self-Taught Magician and America’s Got Talent Winner

Shin Lim

Shin Lim is the true definition of a self-made magician. He acquired his magic routines and sleight-of-hand tricks from watching YouTube videos of other magicians perform. Since then, Shin has perfected his magic skills by developing some of his own techniques and tricks. Now he hosts one of the popular magic shows in Vegas. Not bad for somebody who started as a pianist.

About Shin Lim

When Shin Lim performs for audiences, he demonstrates his 100% self-choreographed magic routines that have been made famous worldwide. Even though Shin originally learned how to do magic from YouTube, his precision and dexterity are unmatched by any other performer. After all, you could learn how to do magic tricks from YouTube all day long, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have the talent to perform in a fun, exciting and entertaining way.

Shin has that talent. His masterful sleight-of-hand tricks have earned him spots on America’s Got Talent and Penn & Teller: Fool Us. As Shin became more successful and won America’s Got Talent, he earned a rare spot on the exclusive show America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Shin demolished the other competing champions and won that show too.

At age 29, Shin represents the next generation of talented and young magicians. If you haven’t been to any of his magic shows in Vegas, you are missing out. He will impress and delight you for the entire show using sleight-of-hand card tricks and manipulating objects in front of everyone’s eyes.

Sometimes you’ll see a special guest perform on stage with Shin. He is another America’s Got Talent finalist named Colin Cloud (The Real-Life Sherlock Holmes). Colin brings mind-reading skills to Shin’s act. Together, the two magicians astonish audiences and create a happy and exciting family-friendly experience.

The Shin Lim show in Vegas can be found at The Mirage on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7:30 PM. Prices are around $100 or less, depending on when and where you reserve your tickets. Since the demand for the show increases regularly, there is no telling when the prices will change.
